The privacy eSIM that doesn't need your ID.
A no-KYC eSIM with a built-in VPN and a US virtual number. No carrier account, no government ID, no phone number tied to your name. Activates in 60 seconds. Works in 180+ countries.
Is there an eSIM that doesn't need KYC?
Yes. GeSIM is an eSIM you can buy and activate without uploading an ID, linking a phone number, or signing up with a carrier account. Payment is settled on-chain in USDC on Solana. The eSIM profile is bound to a hardware key in your wallet, not to your name.
For comparison, every major travel eSIM provider — Airalo, Holafly, Nomad — runs on top of carriers that still collect a phone number or email at signup and route every byte through identified infrastructure. GeSIM is the first eSIM where the identity layer is removed end-to-end.
If you want the longer version, the phone number is the weakest link in a privacy stack — and removing it changes what's possible.
What "no KYC" actually means for a SIM.
A normal SIM ties three things together: your real identity, your phone number, and every byte you transmit. KYC is the regulatory layer that locks that link in place — your carrier knows it's you on the other end, and so does every app you log into with that number.
No KYC means GeSIM never asks for ID, address, or a phone number. Activation runs on cryptographic signatures from your wallet. Top-ups settle in stablecoins. You can rotate the device, change countries, or stop using the eSIM entirely — nothing on our side is tied to a human identity.
Practical implications:
- No paper trail. Subpoenas land on an empty database. We don't have a name to give up.
- No SIM-swap risk. Your line can't be moved by someone who knows your social security number.
- No app-store identity pivot. The phone number you use for 2FA is not the same number that identifies you on a carrier billing system.
How GeSIM protects your location.
Every plan ships with a built-in VPN. Your IP is hidden from apps, websites, and the carrier's data path. You can choose the exit country — keep a US IP from anywhere in the world, or rotate as needed.
Three layers of location protection are active by default:
- VPN tunneling. Outbound traffic exits from one of our infrastructure endpoints, not from the cell tower you happen to be near.
- No carrier metadata sale. Most carriers sell tower-attach logs and roaming data to data brokers. GeSIM doesn't have that data to sell.
- IP rotation. Long-running sessions can be moved to a new exit IP without dropping the connection.
